[July 20th 2007|9.24pm] Good News - > I got the thesis topic I wanted!! YAY! Bad News - > I'm sick. In a way far sicker than I've been in as long as I can remember. Other stuff that happened - Went and saw the fifth HP movie with Loz, Brendan and a bunch of their friends. I'd been expecting it to be bad from a lot of what some people I know were saying but I was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't the greatest movie in the world, but I felt it seemed to condense the story better than the previous movies have done. I'm starting to wish a bit that they weren't being made as literal translations of the books, but perhaps just based on them. I dunno, maybe it would make the story flow better. I went and visited my grandmother. I haven't been doing so as much as I should be. Then after that I went to Isaacs house, and played boardgames with him and Belinda. [July 3rd 2007|9.11pm] Haven't updated in a while. Partly because interesting things don't really happen to me and also partly because I've been fairly busy (and also fairly stressed) and updating hasn't really been a priority. As it happens I finished writing my thesis at about half past ten on Saturday night, about 30 hours after it was due, and handed it in at nine o'clock Monday morning. Today was mostly spend sleeping. After handing in my thesis I spent some time organising my next session project. I have three weeks off before next session which I'm still deciding what to do with. and again, nothing really interestings happened to me, unless you're deeply interested in the workings of the human chloride intracellular channel proteins. [February 14th 2007|9.52pm] Well, its been an interesting week so far. On Tuesday I went into uni to go and try to organise my choices for uni this year. Now I'm stressed and depressed about going back to uni. Then I met up with flufflepuff and we went to see Terry Pratchett and the bookshop and got stuff signed. and took much photos. It was fun. and there was some random running into peoples that I knew. Today I ventured out into the wide world in order to retrieve valuable componants for our washing machine(a piece of pipe). [August 24th 2006|8.16pm] End of another week has come. Hoorah Got another assignment to do, and yet more lab reports to fill out. One bright point was playing with liquid nitrogen this afternoon in lab. Got to do funky training, and go and collect it from giant tank. Then we brought it upstairs and played with it. I stuck my finger in it, that was fun. Plus a balloon, and some rubber piping which smashed very satisfactorily. and some other thermal expansion toys. Read 3 - Comment
